    Was just listening to the latest podcast there and thought I was the only one suffering from this bug of the invisible save dialogue that basically paralyses InDesign.
    David described exactly what was happening, I thought I had a local problem with my monitor, HDR10 stuff was making the trouble. But for some reason on certain occasions when saving in InDesign the dialogue box will appear three or four Spaces away and is barely visible! Anyone else getting this any solutions.

    Hey Terence, I’m both happy and sad that I’m not the only one with this problem. I like your use of the word “malarkey” here.
    I thought I had gotten rid of it by upgrading my Mac OS last week, but nope… came back again yesterday.

    This Adobe forums post says that it is often hiding on another “Space”:

    Sounds like maybe that’s what’s happening to you?

    That isn’t my issue… it just doesn’t show up anywhere. And for me it’s not just InDesign… it’s all my apps, including Acrobat, Word, etc.

    ? Well technically I’m just to the North of Joe Biden’s ancestral home … liberal use of malarkey here ? Thankfully this seems only be a InDesign problem for me (so far). Thanks for the link. Hopefully new Mac OS clears this up for you… I still remember the nightmare that was Quark 6 many moons ago… killed my Mac had to do a OS reinstall ?
