      Hi All.
I do a lot of reports for a government organization. Were always in English until a month or two ago. One report, they wanted in Russian. That went fairly easy. They now want the report in Uzbekistan. The fonts I had been using were Minion Pro for text, Avenir Next for headlines etc. Did all my tagging (styles) prep work in Word, as I usually do. Everything looks fine (type-wise) in Word. Fonts are the same in both Word and InDesign. However, when I bring this file into InDesign there are a lot of character drops. Are there better fonts that I should use, or is there something I am missing here. I do not see Uzbek as one of the languages that Adobe Minion Pro supports. Is there a difference? In fact I can’t even find that InDesign supports Uzbek.

Kind of urgent. Thanks in advance. Rich

I seem to have figured this out. Using a new text font, Minion 3 from Adobe which has the missing characters. Substituted the headline font (Avenir Next) with Lato. Both look identical to the untrained eye.
