      Hello friends,

I am not on Facebook anymore so I can’t ask the hive mind on the ID Secrets Page.

I am trying to figure out a GREP solution for class years.

I am currently using \w+ ’\d+ to find the word before the class year and apply a No Break character style. This seems to partly work. I’m not sure how to include those that have graduated from a law school that would have a number like ’54L. In some cases, the last name gets brought down creating some bad line breaks. In other entries, the number gets pulled up. I don’t know if I need to create another style or create a find/replace to search for the class year(s) and add a forced line break afterward.

      What solutions do you have?

Can you give us a few examples of what you’re trying to find? It sounds like things like “David Blatner ’88” — is that right?

You want to apply No Break, but then you say you don’t want the last name brought down or the number gets pulled up… isn’t that the whole point of no break? What would want it to do?
