I’ve searched but cannot seem to find any conversations regarding the customization of the Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet for InDesign. I know how to basically do it, but I would be very grateful to hear how others have customized their pen tablet to use with InDesign. What cool things ease your work because of this tool?

      Hey Heidi,
I have the Intuos 4 and I’ve been using for years with InDesign and honestly dont have very much set up. I have the two top Express Keys set up to do Next Spread and Previous Spread, which I use a lot, the next two down I have set to move my Spaces on my Mac, but cant say I use them very often (when Im not in InDesign, these are my default top two Express Keys). I also have the pen buttons set to Right Click and Double Click (Not sure if thats default or not). And that’s really it, I dont really use anything else. Anyway, I would say set up a few things, see how much you either use or dont use them as well as how comfortable you are with using them.
I’ve also gotten to where I use an Apple Magic Trackpad with my left hand. The reason being is that im not a fan of scrolling with the little touch scroll wheel on the Wacom itself (the Intuos 4 doesnt have the touch surface that the newer ones have). I find it a little out of the way and too small, so scrolling feels like it takes forever.
Anyway, I’m not sure if that helps, but I’m glad to see someone else using a Wacom with InDesign :) I’d love to hear what you come up with as far as customizing the Express Keys.
      Aaron
