House Industries is known for producing high-quality typefaces and artwork, as well as housewares and clothing adorned with beautiful type. And now they’ve released a free app for iPhone and iPod that allows you to use some of their great fonts to enhance your photos.
The Photolettering app allows users to take and edit photos, then select a lettering style, add text, and share finished images.
The app is free, and comes three House fonts, Plinc Swiss, Bubble Gum, and House Slant. In-app purachases let you add fonts like Neutraface, Caslon, and more for .99¢. Or for $9.99 you can get 20 fonts to use with your photos.
