If you’ve been a reader of CreativePro for a while, you’ve probably seen some of Trish Witkowski’s videos on folded print products from FoldFactory.com. Each week Trish produces a new “Super-Cool Fold of the Week” video, showcasing an impressive folded piece. Her video archive now has 173 videos. That’s a lotta folds! FoldFactory also offers resources for folded print projects including templates, production dielines, recorded webinars, inspirational examples, and informative articles.
Here’s Trish’s most recent Super-Cool Fold of the Week, which shows a piece produced by PDI, a commercial printer in Quebec, to showcase their capabilities to prospective customers in the US and Canada. The piece includes an "ejector card" concept by Jakebox, a Swedish company specializing in creative packaging. When the piece is opened, a card slides out of it, right at your fingertips.
