Like a lot of smartphones, one of the main selling points of the iPhone 5 is its camera. Compact, capable of great shots, and easy sharing. But a true DSLR it is not. The makers of ladibird aim to combine the convenience of an iPhone with the professional-level image quality of a DSLR.
Ladibird is a specialized iPhone case that is also a fully-functioning camera with a mirrorless CMOS image sensor and 50mm f/1.8 prime lens.
The development of ladibird is being funded with an Indiegogo campaign. Expected retail price is $315, but you can still pre-order one now for $167.
