Font Fetish: Sniplash
P22 just released Sniplash, a new type family designed by Terry Wudenbachs.
If its name makes you think of cartoon villain Snidely Whiplash, that’s no coincidence. Wudenbachs was inspired by 1960s and ’70s cartoons and comics.
P22 originally released Sniplash as a single font several years ago, but now there are three variants: Light, Regular, and Bold. You can buy a single font (TrueType, PostScript or basic OpenType) for $19.95. While the set’s regular price is $39.95, you can snag it for $29.95 through April 30th, 2008.
