This program update introduces some new features and fixes. MagicTracer can now export WMF files in addition to DXF, DC2, and XYZ files. The new Set Drawing Units command allows users to choose a number to set for the vector output. This allows for the exact sizing of vector output from MagicTracer for other programs like AutoCAD or Illustrator. DXF options have been expanded to include bezier curves in addition to b-spline curves and all the previous options. Nested hatches and fills along with mirrored arcs are now fixed in DXF and DC2 output.
MagicTracer is a raster to vector conversion program that differs from other raster to vector programs in that it offers a full set of raster as well as vector editing tools. MagicTracer has been said to contain some of the best features for vector conversion. It is also considered one of the best values in vector conversion programs.
