ADIM: Super Heroes Save Santa Monica
Every year, graphic designers, art directors, photographers, and illustrators gather for several days of software instruction and art-full antics at ADIM, the Art Directors Invitation Masters Class. Last night was the kick-off to the 2005 conference, and in true ADIM fashion, Adobe’s Russell Brown donned outrageous clothes to encourage participants to leave their creative inhibitions at the door.
I’m lucky enough to be at my third ADIM. I’ll be sharing tidbits I learn and — most importantly — photos of conference attendees on creativepro.com.
Because Adobe is a major sponsor of ADIM, it’s no surprise that the first two super heroes we saw were Adobe Man and Vector Man.

Vector Man (left) and Adobe Man display hero-sized boxes for the new Creative Suite 2.

Adobe Man reveals that a super villain has sabotaged the ADIM printer. Could the culprit be… Quarkerella??

Vector Man, Quarkerella, and Adobe Man take a break from battling each other for a photo opportunity.
Stay tuned tomorrow for more photographs from ADIM.
