Hourglass Issues: PLEASE HELP!

      Since yesterday, every time I try to copy text from one Indesign CC19 document to add to a new Indesign CC19 document it gets replaced with an hourglass. I am using right click on my mouse. Then when I try to paste it, using the mouse, I get the same hourglass in my document. What have I done?
      Using Ctrl C and Ctrl V works but I’m old school, just means I’m OLD, and I like using the mouse to copy and paste. Any help would be appreciated.

      Does it work if you use that technique to copy/paste in Word or some other program?
      Does it help if you quit and relaunch InDesign or restart the computer? I honestly can’t think of why the right-click feature would work differently than a keyboard shortcut.
