index formating, unwanted ^p and commas

      What is causing these results in generated index? Unwanted ^p which sometimes follows text and sometimes is between numbers. And unwanted , after Götterdämmerung which also appears randomly in other entries. Just upgraded to 2020. Never had these results with prior versions. Thanks.

      Strange! Maybe something in the Generate Index dialog box… some incorrect character?

      I’ve tried replacing the characters. Example above got distorted when it posted. ? are really non-breaking spaces and are not a problem. It’s the ^p which seem to be random, sometimes coming after a word and sometime between a number that are strange.
