      InDesign crashes when placing and Illustrator file. Using ID 2020.

      What kind of Illustrator file? .ai, .pdf, large, small file, transparacy, What version og Illustrator, where in your InDesign doc are you placing it? Op top of something???

      Is it a new InDesign doc or an excisting?

      Have you tryed to se-save the file from Illustrator?

      Missing fonts in the file?

      The Illustrator file is 3,813 KB. Using 2020 apps.

      Today when I place any photo it crashes. I plan on uninstalling and reinstalling ID.

      No missing fonts. I have tried it in ID 2019 with no issues.

      Reinstalling ID did not help. When placing an file it just sit there for several seconds then shuts down.
