      Hi there,

Is there a way of applying a style to the last entry in an index’s section using GREP? I’d like to add extra spacing between the last entry for each letter and the section heading of the next.

      In other words:

      B

      Bike
      Brick
      Bully

      [extra space]
      C

      Cat
      Cot
      Cut

      Can it be done easily?

      Hi
No need for Grep magic here.
Just add some space before to your “Index section heading” paragraph style :-)

I thought of doing that. But when a section heading is pushed to the top of the page/column then it has an unnecessary space at the top. Any thoughts on how I could eliminate the space?

      Bill.

No, the Space Before feature does not affect a paragraph when it is at the top of a column. (Or at least it shouldn’t!)
