    Hi, I’m with a huge problem and hopefully someone can help me solve it. I designed credentials for a company (1000+) and I’m using Data Merge to create them. The database contains the person’s photo, QR, and text, everything links perfect. The image frames have an object style applied and when previewing in the Data Merge panel the photos do not fit the image frame, each object style in each image has an override. The idea is to export each credential directly as an individual pdf or jpg file from Data Merge, since the person’s ID must be named. In the tests I did previously I used a Colecandoo script to export and it works perfect. The only problem now is that the photos do not adjust automatically.

    If your on mac try MyDataMerge (https://mydatamerge.com) for indesign. It seems to fit your needs perfectly.

    – export individually
    – name individually
    – fit images in every way indesign supports (but data merge doesnt)
    – applying styles dynamically (character, paragraph, object)
    – create qrcodes

    Theres a 30 day trial which should fit your needs. But pricing is ridiculous low for professional usage.
