I have designed a booklet in InDesign and when I convert it to .pdf the whole thing shifts when printed (to the right on the cover and to the left on the back). The inside is does not shift.
      Has anyone had this happen?

      Thanks in advance.

How are you printing it? To a desktop printer? Might be an Acrobat thing?

      Thanks for the reply, David.

Yes I am printing it to a desktop printer (HP LaserJet P301 Series). The only thing I could find was change orientation and that didn’t work. That option flipped the inside pages upside down! Any other ideas?

      Thanks in advance.

Sorry about the post disappearing, Nicole. It’s probably because you mentioned the printer name, and our forum software thought you were a spammer. :-(

So you’re exporting a PDF and then printing from Acrobat?

Have you tried using File > Print Booklet in InDesign?

Yes, I’m exporting a PDF and then printing from Acrobat.

Exporting a PDF from InDesign results in a postscript file with the wrong orientation.
