Export an InDesign to PDF with layers Illustrator can read

      I see how to export with Acrobat layers, but is there yet a way to export with layers that can be read by Illustrator and/or Photoshop?

      Hi David.

      I know you or Anne-Marie may know the answer to this question. Is there a script that does this same thing specifically to Illustrator layers? The problem is when I open the PDF exported from InDesign, all the InDesign layers are flattened into 1 layer named, “Layer 1”.

      I don’t know of any script that does that, Michael. There may be one, but I haven’t seen it.

        Yes, that is a very good one! But that is for Photoshop, not Illustrator, I believe.
