      Hello,

      This is my first time posting so please forgive me if this is a bit lengthy and unclear.

      In my Indesign document, I’m trying to get the print icon I’ve placed to print just the page it appears on, let’s say it’s page 13. I’ve selected it icon, gone to “Buttons and Forms” and selected “Print Form”.

      When I export the file as an interactive PDF, print icon is live and brings up the print dialog box when clicked but is set to print all pages. How can I change it so the dialog box has page 13 automatically inserted? I have a PDF with an print icon button that does just that and am hoping to duplicate it’s function.

      Thank you!

      Interesting question, Christine. I really don’t know how that could work. My guess is that if it is possible, it would require some special scripting in Acrobat. You might ask at pdfscripting.com

      Thank you, David. I’ll take a look.

      Christine, why not look at the Properties of the button you have that does what you want …? I’ll bet there is a simple Javascript in there you can copy/paste.

      Hi, Anne-Marie. Thanks for the suggestion. I tried highlighting the print button icon in the PDF and then selecting “Properties” but couldn’t find any information on just the button. I don’t have access to the original Indesign design of the document with the page-specific print button, just the PDF.

      I attach this javascript code to a ‘print’ button within acrobat to print the current page:

      this.print({bUI: true, nStart: this.pageNum });

      Here’s a tutorial on how to set specific print pages on a pdf:
