    I am using ID CS6 and I have a document with 148,746 words, 36 pages. There are no objects, photos, etc. Just words with a line separating each line. If I move one line, or adjust the leading, font size, etc. it can take up to 30 minutes for the transaction to complete. Any ideas how I can make this workflow move faster?

    Hi Rhonda.

    That doesn’t sound normal at all. I regularly work with much larger files than that, and I don’t see this effect. The standard advice is to export the file to IDML, and reopen that IDML file.
    Otherwise, it might be worth reposting this query in the “General InDesign Topics” part of this forum, as this section “InDesign User Groups: doesn’t seem to get much visibility or activity.
