While many development shops will build interactive, animated book applications for their clients at a cost of thousands of dollars, TaleSpring provides an online authoring tool that enables non-technical authors to create their own animated books for the iPad and iPhone for free, and publish to the iPad and iPhone for only $150.
TaleSpring CEO Jason Izatt is excited to provide an easy-to-use, online platform for anyone with a story to tell, and publish that story in a rich media format at an affordable price.

TaleSpring is focusing their application efforts in the areas of children’s books, scrapbooking, training and sales, advertising, and academia, where the art of storytelling can be significantly enhanced with the TaleSpring application.
While animated children’s books have caught the public’s eye, interactive publications also include promotional and instructional apps. Zimbi is creating a “How to throw a Zimbi” book using the TaleSpring system. Sales and training organizations can also use it to produce highly instructive materials that are now portable on a mobile device, such as the iPad.
