Phantasm CS Designer version 2 from Astute Graphics hones in what designers want and need – professional color control directly within Adobe Illustrator!
The core tools are live (non-destructive) Effects and permanent Filters which allow users to color adjust all artwork within an Illustrator document, including all vector objects, text and images.

Adjustments are made via familiar tools including Curves, Levels, Hue/Saturation and more. Carefully constructed to produce identical results compared to their Photoshop equivalents, all major tools allow users to exchange adjustment settings between the two applications.

All core color adjustment tools also provide a comprehensive selection of advanced options to better control all vector artwork and images directly within Illustrator. These include the ability to automatically remove overprint white and convert rich black to any user defined color, such as pure black.

Automation is also possible using the Illustrator Actions system allowing batch processing of artwork.
What’s new in Phantasm CS Designer version 2?
* Unified versions for Mac and Windows and Illustrator CS3, CS4 and CS5. Up/cross-grading between these is no longer necessary – one size fits all.
* New, easy installation process on Mac and Windows.

Note that the basic Swap Channels tool has been removed from Phantasm CS Designer. The revised and advanced Swap Channels Effect / Filter is part of Phantasm CS Publisher.
