New Adobe InCopy Training Course Released
Adobe InCopy is a powerful tool that provides capabilities far beyond what is possible using more primitive tools. That being said, the learning curve for new InCopy users isn’t always easy, especially for users who are accustomed to using Microsoft Word to write and edit content. Add to that the numerous possible configurations in which to use InCopy and it can become a bit overwhelming to implement and use InCopy efficiently.
About the Course
I’m happy to announce that there’s a new course available on Lynda.com and LinkedIn Learning by yours truly called Learning InCopy which covers Adobe InCopy CC 2017 and includes but is not limited to:
- Customizing the Galley and Story views
- Navigating a document
- Saving a workspace
- Creating a story in Adobe InDesign
- Creating a story in Adobe InCopy
- Formatting text and using styles
- Transitioning content from Microsoft Word into InCopy
- Moving content from InDesign to InCopy
- Creating and editing tables
- Using Track Changes
- Creating text macros
- Working with graphics in InCopy
- Exporting to PDF
I wrote this course to cover general use of Adobe InCopy as well as Adobe InDesign, and to explain some of the different workflow options in which you can implement Adobe InCopy at your organization. If you’re a Lynda.com or LinkedIn Learning subscriber, check out this course and encourage your colleagues to do so as well. It’s a great resource to get new users up to speed and to help existing users to brush up on skills or take their skills to the next level. If you’re not a subscriber to either of these services, you can get a 10-day free trial by clicking this link.
