      Good Morning.
I need to create a paragraf style with numbering, but I wanted the odd number in the sequential number to be on the right.
In the image I show what I intend. I know how to put the number, but the numbers always stay to the left of the text, but I need the odd numbered page to be on the right.
Is there any way to do this?
      Thank you

      Beautiful image! …

To do it simply, by the past, I used anchored text frames including the numbering.

I’ll have 1,250 titles throughout the archive. I thought there was an automatic way of numbering …

      Delfim,

there are at least two possible ways:

      1. Anchor you numbering at front of the figure-para and the position will change automatically (depending on your settings in the anchoring dialog)

      2. Use 2 styles (one normal style with left numbering and a second “special” style with right numbering)

How to archive right numbering: Since some versions you can have some variations of placeholder text if you command click on Insert Placeholdertext. If you choose e.g. Hebrew, you can write with world ready composer applied from right to left and a Auto-num will be on the right.

So it is up to you, if you apply those right styles by hand or apply only the first style and a script could check, if the first style is on a right handed page and apply the second style automatically.
