Thanks for the additional answer.

If I choose to unselect “Facing Pages” (which I won’t), every page adopts the margins of the RIGHT master page. The document doesn’t automatically reconfigure. I suppose (in the future) if I want non-facing pages, and a different master for L/R, that’s something that has to be initiated from the very beginning. I think CS5 might do this automatically but (alas) I am still working in CS3.

It’s getting a little bit frustrating to see the solutions for CS5 and up users … like driving a 1990s car while everyone has bluetooth and built-in GPS.
