Reply To: InDesign won't apply paragraph style

This same issue has been driving me crazy for a very long time. I use Character styles very sparingly so I know there are no character styles in my paragraph. When I try to apply my “body style which is Helv TT Med Cond Italic 22/26 it simply does not “take. It reverts back to Futura 10 on 26. I’ve tried holding down the option key, and EVEN upgrading to 2018. Surely there must be a more serious problem here? Yes Im a Quark victim but I’ve been using style sheets for decades.
Ive been getting used to InDesign for about a year now but not FT. HELP
