2011 Event Is for Designers of All Stripes
Press Release
We’re bringing four smashing design events under a brand-new umbrella: HOW Design Live in Chicago, June 22–27, 2011. From freelancers and agency designers to in-house managers and — new for 2011 — packaging designers, everyone will be there. We’re gathering some of the industry’s most innovative thinkers to share their processes, impart hard-learned wisdom and help you become better at what you do.
All attendees will have access to the exhibitor-packed Resource Center, filled with cutting edge products, information and ideas. The inspiring HOW Design Conference Opening Keynote and Reception are open to all attendees, as well, so that all designers can network and cross-pollinate ideas.
HOW Design Live comprises four separate events, so you can focus in on the information that matters most to you:
The HOW Design Conference, June 24–27 — THE creative gathering for designers, offering a hands-on educational program to enable designers to better balance the three key components of graphic design: creativity, business and technology.
The In-HOWse Managers Conference, June 24–26 — helps corporate design leaders build, manage and maintain effective, well-respected in-house creative teams.
The Creative Freelancer Conference, June 23 & 24 — the only business conference for creative solopreneurs, offering practical information on how to target the right clients, effectively manage money, build watertight contracts and more.
NEW for 2011: The Dieline Package Design Conference, June 22–24 — a new partnership between HOW and The Dieline, where the package design community can connect, be inspired and learn. The prestigious 2011 The Dieline Awards Ceremony will take place at the conference, and a gallery of the winning packaging will be on display.
Stay tuned to HOWdesign.com for up-to-date information as programs and speakers for all four events are announced in the coming weeks.
