Thanks for your response. I’m afraid I don’t understand it. The links you provided are generic links I am not sure how you will see the images? This forum doesn’t seem to have an option for me to post an image for you to see. Can you help?

Thanks for responding. Not being so familiar with Indesign perhaps my descriptions are inadequate. I am creating the text in Indesign. I naively assumed that if I dragged the text to the Library and inserted it in another document that the library item would be linked. I was hoping that if I edited the Library item Indesign would update the instance of it in other documents. It seems to work that way with graphics I create in PS. If I edit the PS graphic library item it automatically updates the instance that I have in my document. I have a large number of charts to make that have some of the same text labels. I have had trouble fitting all the information in the charts. I have been experimenting with different fonts and font sizes. Once I find the right one I was hoping to update all the charts at once. I hope this is a little clearer.
