Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. The first issue rolled out as-is (interactive PDF) and the second issue will hopefully be cooler with regards to the links. I’m diving in to the suggestions from all 3 of you, so THANKS!
I was hoping to embed both inside the PDF. So when you open the PDF you see the clickable, embedded link. Then if you printed it, it would print the URL instead. But now I am seeing the craziness of asking acrobat to do that. So, could conditional text help me be able to do both from one file right from InDesign? Click Print and I get printed URL and then Export to PDF and I get a clickable link.
