    Thanks, Clark. Yes, I already use the ^c to paste the clipboard contents — what a handy trick!
    The underline feature doesn’t work for this instance because I want a thicker rule (underline is too fine, no matter the font), and I also need more space between the title and the rule, which underline doesn’t allow. But thanks for your comments. :)

    I’m getting more comfortable with CSS, and have been editing/fine-tuning the EPUB after it’s written. The “border” didn’t work because it spanned the entire column, and I just want it spanning a few characters in the center. I’ll play with the “div” feature. Thanks.

    Thanks so much! Rule-above worked beautifully! I would have thought it needed to be rule-below, to sit on the baseline, but this is perfect. :D

    I actually tried the rule-below just like you said, but when the paragraph had enough words to be more than one line, it messed up where the rule landed. My second try was using the underline character and character style, like you said, but in order to have it the length the author wanted, iI had to stretch the character 1000%.
