MemberI’m so happy to hear I was able to remind you about the videos from Anne-Marie. :) I too had the same issue with images ending up at the end of the document with my .indd files, and after watching her videos, was able to figure it out. :)
If you need any help with self-publishing, feel free to send another message. I’ve been helping my Mom publish her books through Draft2Digital. Any assistance I can offer, just let me know. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, as well. :)

MemberHi @Charlotte Sinclaire, Thank you for reaching out to me. I hope I can help you, as I’ve only ever created documents in single .indd files as well. :)
If I’m understanding your issue correctly, you inserted your manuscript into the .indd file, then added your TOC afterward, by inserting pages in between the flow of text.. If that’s correct, when you export, the TOC may actually be placed at the end of your book, instead of where you want it. I remember watching Lynda.com videos by Anne-Marie Concepcion and I learned that EPUBs export from left-to-right, meaning it will scan your page from the the left edge to the right edge and will export the content in that order. If any text frame of your manuscript appears before your TOC, it will export all of your manuscript first, then the TOC last. What you may have to do is insert a text anchor in your manuscript text frames where you want your TOC to appear, then re-export and see if that works.
If not, let me know what happens and provide some screenshots, if your comfortable with that. :) It will help me get a better understanding of what’s going on.
Please be patient with me, as it may take me a bit to get back with you over the holidays. Thank you. :)

MemberHi Sonu,
To make the table of contents, make sure that you are referencing the Paragraph Style applied to your Chapter Titles in the Table of Contents dialog box. If you are using the same Paragraph style for your intro and your chapter title, the Table of Contents will pull any content with that style. To make it easy, you can duplicate your style and give it a different name and apply it to your Chapter titles, and then in the Table of Contents dialog box, reference the new style. That should then pull the proper chapter names / page numbers. For a better reference, see one of these videos for assistance: https://www.lynda.com/InDesign-tutorials/Constructing-table-contents-TOC/120609/137594-4.html , https://www.lynda.com/InDesign-tutorials/Using-table-contents/129005/141322-4.html
I hope this helps. :)
