Hi all. New user and first post, be gentle :S
I am hoping to sit the InDesign CSS ACE exam in the coming months. I would say I am a very frequent user but I currently have CS5.5 … will it be the case that I won’t know the answers to too many questions as I haven’t encountered the features?
Also, I had read from others that some of the questions seemed to have more than one correct answer, and upon downloading the sample questions from Adobe I found an example:
2. You select a graphic on your page and choose Object > Arrange > Send to Back. However, it still appears on top of another object. What is likely the problem? A. The object in the background is on a different layer. B. The graphic is locked. C. You need to select the image inside the frame, not the frame. D. You should use Object > Arrange > Send Backward. Correct answer: A
I guess the emphasis should be on what is ‘likely’ the problem, as A (the desired answer) in my experience at least is by far the most common in this scenario, but I would suggest two or even three of the answers ‘could’ be correct.
Anyway, I look forward to spending more time in this forum and meeting more InDesign users.
