Well… It doesn't appear to work for me. I understand about the path being broken but, here's the thing, when I used CS3 to collect for output I did not have to relink any of the images. You tell me that all I need to do is relink one of the images and the rest will update. That doesn't happen for me. I have to relink each image. I've never had this problem before until I started using CS5 and updated to Snow Leopard 10.6.8
As I mentioned before, in InDesign I go to File>Package. This collects all the files and fonts the InDesign file uses. So The InDesign file is in the same folder as all the links and fonts it uses, and I still have to relink the images and find and replace fonts. Why?
Problem solved! I needed to delete the InDesign preferences then the script worked.
I'm an old school draftsman from way back I'm used to inches. Yes, I select the frame with the Selection tool then I double click the MakeGrid.jsx Script within the Scripts panel. I also viewed your video on how to do this on Lynda.com so I'm sure I'm following the steps correctly.
