/I think you may need to go into the original PageMaker file and delete the forced line breaks there./
Yes, this works best. Thank you very much.
Hi Harris
Even anchored images are not exported to rtf. Any solution?Hi Harris,
Thank you for your immediate response.I shall explain my issue fully.
In the PageMaker file, the forced line breaks exist. But when I copy and paste the text into ID, the forced line breaks turn to be simple line breaks. Thereby, I am unable to use ^n to find them out.
Any solutions?
Thank you Harris,
This worked fine for me….Thanks a lot.
Hi Harris,
I would prefer…Or if the forced line breaks/soft returns come through, why not just search and delete them?
I should be able to search and delete them in ID.
January 12, 2016 at 12:27 am in reply to: Releasing Anchors of the Anchored Objects VB Script #80711Thank you David, It worked well.
^a is the key option.Thank you Tyson for the lead. But all our installations are in CS 6 only, in Windows.
Hi David,
Sorry, I need to select the anchored object before running the script. I did not do and hence the issue.I selected the object and ran it. It worked fine. Thank you for that.
Now, my InDesign file has some 800 pages and many pages have many objects. So, selecting them individually and running the script is a huge task. Is there anyway to automate the same too?
I am using CS6 in Windows.
Hi David,
Thank you for the quick response. I downloaded the script and ran it. It echoes the error “Please select an inline item”
Any clues?Hello Artwork,
I am happy that there is a way for this. I am sorry, I am a novice. Would it be possible for you to explain more?I am using CS6 in Windows 7
Thank you David Blatner. But the tool is for Mac. I am using Windows 7. Any suggestions?
Wow…. Colleen Shannon… Thank you… That really worked well… Fantastic.
Hi Masood Ahmad,
Thanks for your quick reply. I am sorry. My text frames are arranged horizontally. InGutter script only draws vertical lines. I request any script to draw horizontal lines, between the frames of varying sizes. Thanks David… That worked.
