I made a new keyboard shortcut list, started from the default. and I deleted the shortcut ‘CMD+;’ at ‘show/hide guide’ and changed it to ‘CMD+:’. Now I can hide and show the guides (so I have a new shortcut). BUT… I gave the ‘CMD+;’ to ‘delete all guides’ (which had no shortcut) and there it works well.
so I think that the shortcut ‘CMD+;’ wasn’t take over by another app or feature.
even that i tried ;-)
nope. looked it up in the preferences keyboard shortcuts. everything looks ok…
i’m in the ‘normal’ mode
and i can see the guides in my document. but i have to go to the menu bar to hide them… because the shortcut does’nt work…
hi steve, when i pull a guideline from the rulers, i see them in my document. when i hit command+; nothing happens… when i go to the menu view > grids & guides > hide (or view) guides (where i can see the shortcut combination) and click on it. the guides disappears or hides.
