well thanks for replying.
but that did not work. i am using third party fonts like akshar unicode, gopika, gujarati saral, lohit gujarati, etc. these are available for free downloads on the net. and these pass the font validation tests on mac. they work with pages, but when copy-pasted in indesign CC 14, they go.
however, some other third party fonts like aakar, padmaa, etc work in indesign. but changing from one to another font distorts a lot of characters leading to some editing.
(if you wish, i will post this question in a separate post.) -> creating adobe pdf files from indesign files with regional (gujarati) fonts are perfect but creating epub files generates a lot of junk characters. any thoughts on this?
