Hello, I saved all the documents to a new book and it isn’t caused issues since. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the link.
This worked, I deleted the content on the page below the gap, added it to another newly created spread below and then deleted the original above and the gap vanished.

If it helps here is a wider shot here of the incident were it creates a huge gap between pages in the document tab but not in the pages panel nor in any other open document.
