Did you find it? I just searched all over the Internet, finally found instructions, and then realized that the next paragraph in the book explains where the file is and how to restore it.
“In Windows, the InDesign Defaults file is located in the Documents and SettingsUSERNAMEApplication DataAdobeInDesignVersion7.0en_US folder.”
“To restore the saved InDesign Defaults file after completing the lessons…locate your saved InDesign Defaults file, drag it back into its originalfolder, and replace the current [new] InDesign Defaults file.”
