    Hi Daneil,

    For your first query, you want text to get highlighted: try giving your text a dull defalt state and bright state(for the rolloer) using Multi-state object.
    Also, there is a timing panel to synchronise your actions. You can use that to perform actions simultaneously.

    Hi Annette and Rivkah,
    InDesign has now released its latest version 2014 in which you can layout your cookbook as you want it and export it to fixed layout.
    The fixed layout epub format will help you get the as it is appearance of your document in the exported file.

    If you love to learn it, its now much more easier now than ever.

    Hi,
    For MAC ibooks is the preferable reader to test with.
    For Win or MAC also, Readium, Chrome application for ebook can show to an extent the expected outcome.

    Hi,
    Seamless Update will help you to preserve your workspaces, keyboard shortcuts, etc. basically your preferences.
    But the plug-ins you install are not the part of your preferences hence they will not be migrated by the seamless update.
