Hi, me again,
I’ve got the answer from Adobe’s forum: in footnote’s paragraph style, I have to choose don’t align to the grid. As it has the same leading as the body text it will align. And the blank lines will disappear.
Hi again,
here’s the link of the Indesign page file where the bad spacing first occurs.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvbd8lbrcw03u7w/badspacing.indd?dl=0
I’ve tried exporting the file, which is very large, to idml. When I try to open it, Indesign thinks for ages, then freezes and the dialog asks to close the application. When I reopen Indesign, Sans-titre-1 is there but all text in the boxes has gone, and the little red + shows in the right bottom.
And guess what, Notes 1-25 now have too between notes the odious blank line which is driving me nuts.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Mireia
Sorry. Here is good link for the good spacing sample:
I see only bad spacing shows in the last link. Here’s the good spacing sample:

UPDATE: I have compared Footnote general options and Footnote paragraph style with an older version (with all footnote spacing correct), and there are no differences in the values or choices.
