ParticipantAnother cool feature (not shown in the video) is that, after having create/insert all the “tabs” in the book, if the layout moves in one or in all the docs and/or you finally want to change the “tab” appearance (its number/gap between or various colors), just click again on “+Tabs” to update!
Feel free to contact me on FRIDNGE if interested [paid script]

ParticipantNora, not enough clear for me!
Let’s make maths!
113 docs,
4 books,
1 tab per section.Be clearer! I just see 5 tabs in your sample!

ParticipantAs said in another topic, I am working on cross-ref. at the moment.
I will write such a script (for me, for fun) and post a video on my YouTube chain!
I will surely post its link here.If interested, take a look! … and maybe then contact me if nobody helps you to fix your issue!

ParticipantAt the moment, update of this old script for a client to make it work like what you mean! ;-)

ParticipantPat,
What I mean is:
if an image is just placed on a page, I would anchor it in an auto-resizing text frame and, as it is anchored now, I could create a text anchor whose name would be the name f the image.
Of course, that could seem complicated but, personally, I would just need 1 click because I would use a script for that!

ParticipantHi Nora,
Could you post screenshots?

ParticipantSure a “static” caption could be a quick and easy way but I would use a “text anchor” (whose name would be the name of the image) if this image is anchored!

ParticipantWe can suppose of course the “Figure” para style includes an auto-num and you target for the cross-ref. one of these paras using such a para style! …

ParticipantThat’s the “light” version!
The “batch” version works for all the doc with just “1click”!
But you will have to find it … in a galaxy far far away!

ParticipantJust place the cursor in the para you want to be treated!
Simplistic!(^/)

ParticipantI was wrong: I needed 7 code-lines!
