ParticipantHi,
Tell us more:
Just remove all (anchored) text frames with a specific object style applied?
Just remove all (anchored) text frames with a specific object style applied and placed inside tables?
Just remove all (anchored) text frames with a specific object style applied and placed inside tables searching through their contents?
……Too tired to try to find the good case, especially for free!

ParticipantAs Jacquouille la Fripoulle [“Okay! ……”] in the movie “The Visitors” or Gaston Lagaffe [“M’enfin! …”] in the comic strip of the same name, I thought Raphael would launch his famous call: ” Akiwa! … “, but not this time! ;-)
Simplistic view:
Adjust the kerning value between ” or ‘ or ! and a number when the font used is Arial and the number is superscript!
// by FRIdNGE [October 2018]
//————————————————–
var myFindWhat = “[”‘!]d”,
myAppliedFont = “Arial”,
myKerning = 500,
myCharPosition = Position.SUPERSCRIPT;
//————————————————–app.findGrepPreferences = null;
app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = myFindWhat;
app.findGrepPreferences.appliedFont = myAppliedFont;
myFound = app.activeDocument.findGrep();
var F = myFound.length, f,
myCounter = 0;
for ( f = 0; f < F ; f++ ) {
if ( myFound[f].insertionPoints[1].kerningValue != myKerning && myFound[f].characters[1].position == myCharPosition ) {
myFound[f].insertionPoints[1].kerningValue = myKerning;
myCounter++
}
}
app.findGrepPreferences = null;alert(“Done! … [” + myCounter + “]\rby FRIdNGE, october 2018”)
Have a good day! ;-)

ParticipantHi,
Simplistically:
• Insert a Grep style:
[”‘!](?=~j\d)
char Style: “tracking +200” (sample)
• Then just play this regex:
Find: [”‘!](?=\d)
Replace by: $0~jBest,

ParticipantIf @ is the char you want to insert after the 4th char …
Find: (.{4})(.+)
Replace by: $1@$2
Find Format: + ItalicOf course, that logically means if you want to insert @ at the beginning of each “italic” text, you need to find: (.{0})(.+)

ParticipantHi Lauren and Claudio,
Imho, you’re right and wrong both of you! … ;-)
According to me, Claudio, you’re right proposing to use an “header variable” but that won’t work as it seems to me you think!
Lauren, you’re just right about the use of “some sort of Paragraph Style and/or Grep magic” but surely wrong if she imagines that could be enough to solve your problem!
That said, if interested to generate your TOC including this “header variable” just using a script [already written!] and playing one click, feel free to contact me! …

ParticipantHi,
I’ve written such a script [in fact 2: “next page” and “previous page”] one year ago for a client.
If interested [low price paid scripts package], you can contact me:Best,

ParticipantHi,
[Note: the “Alt”-drag doesn’t work correctly about the first (background) layer! …]
Select a layer in the “Layers” window [to make it “active”] and run this simple script [useful to associate a keyboard shortcut to it!]:
// by FRIdNGE, August 2018
var myLayer0 = app.activeDocument.activeLayer,
myLayer1 = myLayer0.duplicate();
myLayer1.move(LocationOptions.AFTER, myLayer0);Best,

ParticipantHi Anne-marie,
You’re totally right! Align text across columns using “Lock to Baseline Grid” is really simple to play!
… But align (Y-offset) the first line of each para of the first story on the first line of the corresponding para of the second story, especially when the leadings are totally different (as I show in the video) is … a little less simplistic!
However, could we consider just 1 click as something simple to play?
I’ll definitely say: “Yes!”

ParticipantHi
I’ve written such a script [a little more complex] some years ago for a client but it wasn’t for free!
So I can’t help more if you’re only interested by a scripter for-free work!Best,
