MemberHiya
Please can you tell me how I would merge text frames that run on several pages and then break – say for example page 1 -10 are one text frame data flows between them – then on page 11 it starts a new text from (so date from page 10 doesn’t merge to page 11) – how can I merge those two together?

MemberHi David
Just to let you know I uninstalled and reinstalled both InDesign and Acrobat – this fixed both problems – drastic I know, but at the end of the day the quickest way to solve the problem!
Thank you for your input

MemberHi David
Can I also just point out that it’s only text that is coming across to the PDF in Black – a coloured box retains the colours
Marc Diamond
MemberI have exported a document from Word to a PDF – colour comes across fine – so this would suggest it’s an issue with InDesign?
I have also renamed InDesign defaults file – so a new one was created – but this hasn’t helped either?

MemberDo you think it might be worth uninstalling Indesign and re loading it? or is there a way to return everything to default?

MemberHi David
I am not sure now if I have two different issues or if they are related.
Now all text shows as black regardless of the colour and regardless of whether its on dark background
Original issues is text shows black if on a coloured box (background)yes I am exporting to PDF

MemberI now find that it doesn’t matter what colour text is in the document – when exporting to Acrobat it shows black?

MemberI am sure the answer is in there somewhere but I can’t find it – the page number is working fine but I get 1.1. (1 point 1 point) on every page prior to the page number itself.
The ‘A’ in the master page is editable but the 1.1 is not
Marc Diamond
MemberThere is a dot between the 1.1
