Yes, the Story Editor feature that's built into InDesign.
I am revising a book with many chapters. I moved and retitled a section to the end of a chapter. It remains stubbornly in Story Editor in its old location (as well as its new) even though it's only in one place in the document text. I also moved some paragraphs to put them under a new heading but I cannot index that because the new heading is not showing up in Story Editor. Also, I indexed a word in an old chapter and it was on p. 350. With text changes, it's now on p. 345 but the indexing feature is still showing 350. Once, after shutting down for the night, it came in synch when opening the next morning but there should be a way to get them to synch up as I go along?
