I'm the Creative Director for a healthcare publishing company in San Diego, California. I've been using Adobe InDesign since version 1.5 and love it...I probably would have gone into a different career if it hadn't been for desktop publishing. I am a professional pianist and started a non-profit piano organization which gives people of all walks of life the opportunity to perform at recitals in front of live audiences (just like the professionals). My hobbies include watching Lynda.com videos, photography, improv, travel, and sleep. I am an avid book reader (the printed kind) but I design ePubs as well as printed publications. I just read a great article in Fast Company magazine about someone who "unplugged" from digital connectivity for 25 days, and I'm thinking of doing that too, albeit for only 2 weeks. I just can't decide when I should start.
