MemberSince the last update i am able to use the book panel again. (Due to the december 2015 update it crashes constantly.) However it is not 100%, especially with closing book panel documents it sometimes crashes. Further more the book panel goes out of sight after returning from another application to InDesign. Then i have to put it back from the Window menu. It’s then positioned in the top left corner.

MemberStill having problems on closer inspection. Maybe it has to do with server connection.
If i work without server InDesign doesn’t crash on double clicking a book file. But the panel does move behind the application frame. I have to sort it out more accurate.Kees Valkering
MemberThanks for your reply. As far as i can see it solved the problem.

In the mentioned link is also a script for deleting unused swatches which I use daily.Kees Valkering

There is also one for the swatches which is handy!Kees Valkering
MemberYou’re right. I build a new document and that one didn’t slow down the story editor. It has something to do with certain documents. I’ll find out later.

MemberIn this case it is a story (about 15000 characters) with one paragraph style and one character style.

What about using a custom dictionary? I discovered that it is possible to add a custom dictionary tagged for all languages. So far it works well.

MemberThanks! This works very well.
Mentioning the space, I looked for a normal space in the Find/Change dialog but couldn’t find it. Thats why I used any space ?

MemberI thought it always does auto-activation. I switched to font book along time ago (i think the first release) and never used third party software again.

MemberI'm using version 7.0.4 and I don't work with collapsing panels. So untick Auto-Collapse has no effect in my workspace. What does work is to place the Links panel on it's own. (Normally it is grouped with layers and pages.) A disadvantage is, however, that it takes a lot of space.

MemberCheers
That works very well
