Hi David,
I do have a Lynda.com account and I’ve watched the training topics, but I’m still running into trouble with grouping graphics with accompanying text frames, arranging text frames in front of graphics, anchoring graphics to text, and wrapping text properly. When it’s a simple placing of one graphic, there’s no real problem, but when it’s graphics and text that work together, I’m having some problems. I’d really like to show an expert how I’m doing things and get suggestions for how my process could be improved. I’m going to be responsible for showing 2 other new users how to do this in a few weeks. I’m already setting them up to take your InDesign Essentials training on Lynda.com, but I need to understand this issue so I can help them when the issue comes up for them.
Thanks
Thanks, David. I read the post and watched the video, but I’m still confused about how to accomplish this when we want text to wrap around the object. It seems that making the object inline fixes the page break issue, but prevents us from using text wrap…because it’s inline. Am I right?
Thanks
