BINGO!!!!!
Thanks so much, Vinny. This is a real keeper.

Thanks very much. I’m looking into it. I have a legal textbook with 23 chapters. This could be very useful.

Hi Kelly. Does that Annotations plugin work with ID CC? Their site seems to show only up to CS6.

Thanks. Was looking for a key-command solution (faster) since I have several hundred of these, but it looks like the traditional method is the only way to go. Appreciate your feedback.

I’m using CC 2019 and it’s not working at all. All of the “[comma] LLC, Inc” etc. are breaking off as their own index entry. For example:
Texaco, Inc.
Indexes to Texaco AND Inc.
I’m using the standard subject key command. What key command are you using, or are you manually entering them?

Hi Trina, did you ever figure this out? I’m in a similar situation with and index of court cases. The index won’t pick up anything after a comma such as “Company1, Inc v. Company2, LLC.”
I’ve tried using non-breaking spaces and also using “No Break” character treatment, but no luck.

Thanks, but I’m dealing with a massive Excel file. 119 columns by 420 rows. The cells I’m talking about are row dividers that cross the remaining 118 empty column cells.
Thanks. Cross-references did the trick, actually. I feel like a moron for forgetting about those.
To clarify, this does not link to a section. It’s a link to a graphic that’s embedded farther down the document. Thanks.
