Should something be changed?
I went into edit my paragraph style also, but didn’t see anything about it.
Thanks again.
Where do I check that?
Thank you so much. I was missing the drop down box with the different styles, so I never actually applied the new style to my object.
They are working, just not the styles. Maybe I’m just not applying the style to the frame correctly, because when I make changes in the styles box, nothing happens. In the main stroke options though, I see the stroke changes.
That makes sense, thanks. I am working with a 3 column frame, inset at .125. I put the gutter at .25, and it looks good. It doesn’t line up with the vertical margin lines (or the columns above that are not inset, but I guess that is impossible.
Gotcha. Okay, that’s very helpful. Thank you!
If I choose “text only” under clipboard options, that means it won’t even import numbered lists, etc., right?
Assuming that’s the case, I”m trying to decide the best way to bring text in. Do I just need to make sure everything is formatted in Word (or whatever application) using styles?
Ok, thanks! I’m actually pasting from Scrivener.
I still don’t understand though why clicking the paragraph style doesn’t affect the font characteristics. Isn’t that the purpose of the styles? To change the font to that style?
Thanks!
Perfect, thank you!
