Had a demo yesterday, looks interesting. Again, been told over 10,000 users globally. But I take it none on here!

Noticed lots of quick keys are now not working including the following.

Holding down CMD to select the direct selection tool
Holding down CMD to select the boxes underneath other boxes
Holding down CMD will adding a new guide so it appears across the whole spread, rather than just the page.
Holding down CMD+Space for Zoom tool in illustrator as well as indesign.
Holding down SHIFT while moving boxes to keep them Horizontal or Vertical with the current location.

I’m sure they’ll be more as I keep working. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I’ve just updated to OSX10.13.4 and Indesign CC 13.1 and Cmd+Space has stopped working to temporarily select the zoom tool. Double checked the post above, but my iMac doesn’t qualify.

I’ve seen this issue before, on an earlier CC version, which Adobe corrected eventually with a new updated version, after months of it not working. Anybody else experiencing this, and does anyone know if there’s a switch to turn it back on? I’ve managed to get the keyboard shortcut, but it selects the tool, not temporarily selects.

Been using this shortcut for over 10 years, so really slowing me down not having it as my main option.

Newbie here too, so sorry if it’s a stupid question, but…

If the file opening is a .indt file and it’s saving as an .indd, I would guess you wouldn’t replace the template with an indesign file as they have differing extensions.
So wouldn’t you end up with a template file and a new indesign file by running this script? Or am I incorrect and it’s saving over somehow.

Thanks for the info, don’t have too much experience with doing anything but running a script. Tested on 5 files and now works perfectly. Thank you very much!

Getting this error when adding the line you provided into the script box. Any ideas?
