    Yes I feared this and it doesn't seem very flexible to only include character styles by Adobe :/

    Is there a hack around it? A script perhaps?

    Update on this. Yes find/replace works with my button objects cut into the clipboard which is great however can this be incorporated as a GREP style in my paragraph style? I don't see a way to do it.

    In the end i used √ character from the source data and then change it within inDesign to Berlins Sans FB bold so it looks like a tick.
